This stool was inspired by Hans Christian Andersen tale, "The emperor's new clothes". Just as in the story, where the garment grants the King his value, so does the stool's dress grants it its essence. The inspiration for the design and construction were taken from the traditional embroidery technique which reflects the textile craftsmanship in the story.
